Comprehensive Social Oversight (CSO)
The OSC seeks to advance the collective interest, prestige, and influence of Comprehensive Social Oversight (CSO) programs and their personnel. An explanation of the CSO Program is explained below:
What is Comprehensive Social Oversight (CSO)?
Comprehensive Social Oversight, or CSO, is the program of ensuring the culture, mindset, values, and practices of an institution, community, and people are dutifully monitored and incentivized to ensure that they are oriented towards an orderly and temperant direction.
What are Orderly and Temperant values?
Orderly and Temperant values involve ensuring that the behavior of individuals and the direction of an institution's work promote and incentivize good behavior. Behaviors that moderate one's appetiate from excess and to foster a mindset that upholds the inherent imporance of orderly authority are key things that CSO seeks to build.
How does CSO Programs promote its values?
The primary method for CSO Programs to promote and enforce values of order and temperance would be for certified CSO personnel, also known as Overseers, to be present in every institution and community. They will then encourage orderly and temperant mindsets and values among the people and have the authority to correct behaviors when necessary. CSO Personnel should certainly influence and posses the authority to influence the governance of the institutions they reside in to allow their work to be fulfilled. How exactly they do this would vary based on the institution, the OSC will assist them in this regard.
What benefit does CSO have for institutions?
Institutions that have a CSO Program, whether that is a governmental entity, a territorial community, or a corporate business will increase their reputation for upholding healthier societal values. Social cohesion among such institutions will also increase as a common value system would be fostered to build unity and the benefits that come with it.
